Rick'ys Big Collection Paintings
Description Framed painting of Col. Edwin Upton indicating rank and heroic staffage, his attributes include a pair of dark glasses and a cane. Reason we can determine that it is Col. Upton, he experienced a terrible accident while keeper at the house of correction in 1869. While supervising a blast at the correction facility something went wrong and he became afflicted with blindness; truly the portrait was painted from real life.
