The obituary tells us that former school committeeman, Thomas H. Moriarty was a retired electrical contractor and formerly operated the Moriarty Electrical Company, Inc. of Fitchburg.
Mr. Moriarty was past president of the Rotary Club, and past president of the Rotary Presidents' Club, a former member of the School Committee for 12 years and a past president of the Committee of the Massachusetts State Association of School Committees. He was also a prominent member of the Republican City Comittee, a member of the board of directors of Junior Achievement and a trustee of the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children. |
