| Abstract |
The obituary tells us that Mr. Herbert Grant Morse was the present City Clerk at the time of his death. Previously, he had spent many years in banking, governmental and fraternal circles in Fitchburg. From 1906 until 1916, Mr. Morse was city treasurer and tax collector.
He was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of Aurora lodge, A.F. and A.M. of Thomas Royal Arch chapter and of Jerusalem Commandery. He belonged to the Shrine. |
