Description

| Gold pocket watch in a glass-domed case with a wooden base. The watch was given as a wedding gift to Otis Ruggles from Thomas Whittemore Nov. 26.1850. Benjamin F. Brown bought it at a Boston acution house about 1874. Presented to Fitchburg Historical Society in his memory by his sister. Inscribed in back of case Initial Bonbark. The watch is a key wind type. The keys are hanging on a hook inside the dome. The watch is missing. |
