Description 
|
| Set of four lacquered metal coasters from Jamaica. Charleen Dahlin taught there from 1966- 1969. The coasters depict cultural scenes of the island:
a. "Fruit Vendor"- green background with donkey drawn cart and palm tree
b. "Steel Band"- light blue background with four natives playing steel drums
c. "Limbo"- black background with two natives playing guitar and drum, two holding the pole, and one doing the limbo.
d. "Market Day"- red background with two native women carrying baskets of food on their heads, one holding the hand of a little girl |
