| Abstract |
A collection of memories about Lucille's schooldays previous to1946 when she graduated. She tells of kindergarten and grade 1 in the school on Dover Street, and 2-8 on Sheridan Street. She tells of the "strict" nuns, students wore uniforms, and boys and girls were separated by an empty row of desks. French was spoken half of the time. A lot of memorization was expected. The rooms were described as well as some of the activities that took place. |
