Here Norcross emphasizes overlapping circular forms, slight cropped at the papers edge, to create 2 dimensional patterns. As said before in the Suzy Garland work, she obviously saw the rendering of her flowers as a challenge to her compositional skills in the treatment of painteryly still lifes, rather than dry transcriptions that would appear on 3 dimensional plate designs. |
