| Description |
Simonds Saw and Steel had its beginnings back in 1832 when Abel Simonds began a scythe shop. Though Abel Simonds began the factory, his sons continued and expanded upon his legacy up until 1966. a total of 134 years under the same family. Here historicizing the use of saws especially in Egyptian and Grecian times is inacurate yet nonetheless the saw has proven to be a valuable tool and export manufactured in Fitchburg. |
