Article from Worcester Telegram, "Old Opera House is Deserted Ruin"
Originally the Whitney Opera House, in 1904 opera gave way to vaudeville and became the Bijou Theater. Article tells the history of the building with an interior view and an old picture hanging in the forgotten theater. Silent movies were shown at the Bijou. The Bijou closed in 1916.
