Description
|
| An oak corner cabinet made in Vernacular Eastlake design. It was probably made by a local craftsman or member of the Grand Army of the Republic, Akron Chapter. The letters "GAR" are stenciled into the top with black ink. The interior shelves have a shaped front and are well finished with the original lock and reproduction key. Interior tongue and groove with beading, vertical paneling. Note the incised carved design in center and scrolls on corners.The lower section is used for storage. |
