Notes One branch of Hunkers were in Toledo and fought in the War of 1812 and the victory of Oliver Hazzard Perry. They resettled to Put-In-Bay and the Hunker Hotel and two Victorian residences beyond the monument still remain.
Provenance Robert L. Hunker purchased the print for the G.A.R. Hall in 1962.
