| A wooden secretary made of American walnut in the combined Gothic and Eastlake design. It has scroll and leaf handles. The top right finial is missing. It was owned and used by Colonel Arthur L. Conger (1838-1899), born in Peninsula and a distinguished Civil War veteran. See Notes and Provenance. |
