Notes The first caption reads: "Photograph of the local Everett Players Group, probably taken in the G.A.R. Hall in the early 1890s." The second caption for the bottom two photographs reads: "Woodwork originally installed in the P.E. Werner residence which faced West Market Street, now the site of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. The original estate encompassed an entire block bordered by Maple Street and Crosby Street. The carving was done in the 1880s by German laborers brought to Akron by Mr. Werner, who at that time was the world's largest publisher of leather bound volumes."
