There is no manufacturer's mark or place of origin; therefore, it was probably made prior to 1890 which designates it antique with probably a greater collectibility, rarity, and value. All of the blue and white Chinois design porcelain objects are foreign to the Civil War and can be removed to the Foundation office to be admitted to the permanent Museum collection of Decorative Arts or if no value to be deaccessioned per Foundation regulations.
