The characteristic feature of this new style was the twisted and knobbed turnings of legs and runners. Includes photographs of tables, chairs, birdcages, chests of drawers, china cabinets, clocks, stools, and settees. Also includes, close-up photographs of details, 15 plates, 223 photographic illustrations, and index. |
