A pen and ink sketchbook of Early American tools used by the trades and crafts men of the time including: curriers, farriers, wheelwrights, coopers, blacksmiths, coachmakers, sawyers, loggers, and tanners. Sketches are accompanied by brief explanantions of how the tools were used as well as sketches of various sizes and styles. Includes index.
