"Xmas 2003- from my wonderful friend Anne Alexander whose Grandfather M. J. Alexander see pg 101 surveyed & gained a fortune from founding Barberton. Johnston's great-grandson & daughter Edmund & ? were our N.Y. Akron/Portage Lakes "play mates" where we were in college & after They were actors in NYC & lived in Village/Horatio St. Their Grandfather-a dilatante referred to as "Colonel" rode his horse (and I joined him) down Manchester Rd. and thru the Barber Estate then owned (what was left) by Austin's & out bldgs by Mrs. Barber. Mother's cousin from Irwin. RL Hunker 2/2/04"
