Catalog corresponding to the Hirschl & Adler Galleries exhibition inaugurating the gallery's department of American prints, organized for the benefit of Lenox Hill Hospital. This exhibit chronicles the history of printmaking in America from 1796 to 1941. Includes examples of etching, engraving, aquatint, lithography, chromolithography, and monotype, as well as biographical and historical information.
