Title Cleveland National Horse Show
Cleveland, Ohio
Abstract Architectural drawings of a design job for the Cleveland National Horse Show in Cleveland, Ohio by Hunker Associates, Inc.

Robert L. Hunker transformed Cleveland Auditorium into an arena for the National Horse Show and vacant third floor rooms for a "Tan Bark Club" for the patrons.

The annual National Horse Show is always held in New York City in Madison Square Garden. In 1966, the old Garden was demolished for a new Garden. Cleveland applied to the committee along with other cities to sponsor and produce the show. Cleveland won and held the show to raise money for the American Heart Association. It was a great success but financially it barely broke even.
