| Notes |
This baking table was used in the first residence of David Brown and Dora Welshonse Brown Marks in Acme, Pennsylvania. It was used in the kitchen for baking. It went through the explosion of 1908 that killed David and two of his sons, Elroy and Clark. It then moved to Foxtown and last to New Stanton in the dining room until Marie Boyle Marks resided there with her husband William Franklin Marks and sister-in-law Martha Marks. The baking table was moved from the kitchen to the dining area when the kitchen was renovated after Dora's death.
David and Dora Brown were Robert L. Hunker's maternal grandparents. William and Marie Boyle Marks were Robert L. Hunker's half uncle and aunt. |
