From the favorite carriage horse of David Brown, Robert Hunker's maternal grandfather. The horse was burned in the fire of the horse stable, about 1905 in Acme , Pa. Grandmother Brown Marks used it for a door stop at the front double entry doors to the stair hall in New Stanton, Pa. Robert L. Hunker used to play with it. |
