Object Name Cabinet, Filing
Description A red oak wood filing cabinet with five drawers with metal frame for labeling on the front of each drawer made from brass as are the drawer pull handles. It has a golden or natural oak finish. In 2004 Robert L. Hunker liquidated and found file in contents of Jastromb Art Furniture, a tenant of Robert L. Hunker Associates. The Almatic Building is currently owned by the Robert L. Hunker Historic Preservation Foundation. The Jastromb company started business in Cleveland in 1906 and the file was probably their first filing system cabinet. Restored by Allen Chase of Hunker Associates in 2005.
