Ernestine McMillan Hilton was an educator and activist for children's rights from 1940 to 1975. She was active in the local, state, and national PTA. She served as the president of the Washington State PTA in the late 1960's. During the period from 1946 to 1999 Ernestine and Earl L. Hilton owned and operated the Rocky Pine Ranch, a dairy operation near Cheney, Wa. |

Folded leather cover with 32 leaves. This autograph album contains poems and greetings written to Ernestine McMillan by her classmates between 1930 and 1933 while in elementary school. She would have been between 10 and 12 years of age when this autograph album was in use. The pages of the book are blue, pink, and white and are written on both sides. |
