William Puttle believed that nothing was more important than educating future generations about the past. His clever way of looking at objects as our textbooks and archives as our stories led many people in the community to support the WPC.
Established in 1982, the museum has been open to the public every day of the year. Since the museum is staffed entirely by volunteers, researchers are encouraged to make an appointment before visiting so that our staff may give you the best possible service.
